My role as a therapist is to work alongside you helping to guide you on your own path of healing. Using the strengths that you already have, we can work together to increase resiliency and hope for a life of quality. Over the past several years as a mental health therapist, I have worked with a wide range of clients in inpatient, outpatient and telehealth settings. I have worked with clients coming to counseling for trauma, addiction/substance use, depression, anxiety, relationship stress, grief, domestic violence, suicidal ideation and more.  Becoming trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy allows me to continue with treating trauma, grief, phobias, OCD, and other issues, using bilateral eye movements and little to no discussion about the issue that brings clients to counseling, in as little as 1-5 sessions.

As a South Dakota native, I enjoy providing quality mental health services to fellow South Dakotans and connecting clients with additional resources in the area. Taking an individual approach with each client, I can offer a therapeutic approach that best fits your needs and hopes for counseling.

Receiving a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Wellness and Psychology from Mount Marty College as well as a master’s degree in Clinical & Mental Health from South Dakota State University, I have a background to provide clients with a holistic approach to therapy. In my downtime I enjoy listening to podcasts & audiobooks, bicycling, and hiking with family.
