I believe that everyone has a unique story that has shaped how they respond emotionally and physically.

For anyone currently in a chapter of life they never thought they would be in, learning to create a different story is a powerful yet challenging experience. Even though this can be a process, I believe there is healing and opportunity in changing your story to reflect a life worth living!

I can’t write your story for you, but I can help you find strength, hope and healing as you begin your new chapter. I will be ready to walk beside you as you begin your journey to happiness. I am excited to announce I will be offering services based out of the Burke, SD location.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and my master’s degree in Social work from the University of North Dakota. My enthusiasm for helping others has continued to blossom over the years as I have spent the last six years of my career working in community mental health learning the many dynamics of mental illness and the helping profession.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, families, and couples in areas of stress management, trauma and abuse, PTSD, suicidal ideation, major depressive disorder, grief and loss, bipolar disorder, conflict management, family communication and relationship stress, anger management, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and many more! Everyone is unique and no matter what it is you may be experiencing I will be here to help.

When I am not working it is easy to find me on a walk or hike with my dog Charlie. I love being outdoors, traveling, and adventure. Growing up near the Niobrara River in Nebraska, it was exciting that South Dakota offers the Missouri River where my Husband and I enjoy spending time in the summer. Photography is one of my hobbies along with crafting and spending time with my two rescue kitties at home. Did I mention I am a softy for rescue animals, or any animal for that matter!
